Westjet is great. It’s cheap. They fly a lot of places. And with Air Canada teetering on the brink, we’d all better find a way to like Westjet since they may soon be Canada’s major carrier.

On the downside, they’ve hired a bad actor to talk to you when you’re on hold. He shouts things like: HEEEEEEEEY SUDBURY! and fills you in with friendly biological facts, like the fact that birds usually don’t sing when they’re on the ground, only when they are flying or standing on something. Thankfully though, there’s an upbeat steel drum rythm playing over and over again in the background. That really helps.

No it doesn’t. They gotta cut this crap out.
