Kim et al, Yes, this
Kim et al,
Yes, this is Prince George, yes the crewcabs are waiting in the parking lot. Yes, its snowing, yes my hotelmate got up early to go outside and spit and smoke and have a beer. Yes, there was an old native guy casually smashing the glass and b and e ing a pawn shop on the main street as we walked by this morning, yes the train tracks run by the paper mill on the way to the fraser. Yes it is cold. Yes my crew was waiting by the second cup talking shit in french and english. Yes.
I took a photo of the back of an old station wagon that had BC plates, a “canada” sticker and a “this car stops at all big ass garage sales and fred eaglesmith shows”. The guy who asked my why I was photographing his car turned out to be the other crew boss, he’s into blue grass and brought some instruments.
I feel like I’m being beat over the head with a canada stick.
We’re heading out as soon as the last truck gets in from the airport with the final arrivals.
Be well,
H
