A quick follow-up to Canada’s ambiguos Iraqi deployment
Yes, there was a war in Iraq. Soon I guess it will be time to retire the dead-o-meter on the side bar there. Maybe you remember that Canada decided to send no soldiers, maybe you remember there was some, possibly justified, controversy over the fact that Canadian soldiers on exchange with other countries did end up in Iraq. At the time of the invasion, that added up to about 30 canucks carrying weapons through Iraqi territory.
