Sweet, I just won an auction for a replacement for my rotting/splitting/held together with universal upholstrey sealant*/pretty crappy motorcycle saddle. Unless the photos are total forgerys, it’s an original GPz saddle from the same year in very nice condition.

A little bit of excitement, I was in a bidding war for the last couple of days with some other guy, then at the last possible second – okay, 6 seconds – I was almost outbid by what I assume was a sniping bot. But I emerged victorious. Play by play here.

And yes, I know ebay sucks and should be put up against the wall. As soon as somebody’s worked up an open source alternative I’ll buy all my motorcycle saddles there.
