squamish non-profit
hey, I’ve got a job. I’m at work. In squamish. It’s a non-profit. And it’s so budget. They don’t call it non-profit for nothing. Here in the back room of the freenet computer lab, it looks like somebody spent the night in a computer graveyard with a shovel and bad intentions. My colleague here gets paid to ressurect 486s for productive work – that would have been my dream job in highschool. Milk crates full of serial mice. Bookshelves of old printers. Ikea racks of eviscerated minitowers. Behind me there is an old cookie tin bearing a floppy disk label marked “cpus and ram”. This is great. Anything this budget turns me on. Nothing better than an insurmountable challenge.
