I finally got around to watching Zoolander. I understand some people didn’t think it was funny, but I respectfully disagree. I ache.

Previously, Star Trek III (?) had the best ignorance-of-computer-technology movie scene: Scotty the time traveller trying to talk into the mouse of an Apple IIe (?). “Hello computer”. No longer dominant. Zoolander and fellow male model’s attempts to get the important files from the computer in their former bosses’ office beat that with a stick. A well played scene, nicely set up.

Maybe I was better able to suspend disbelief cause of my earlier encounter with that guy who had honestly never operated a computer before. But I recommend all computer geeks watch and enjoy.
