This is the first post made on the new Electrolog backend. I’ve switched hughstimson.org over from Pair Networks (who were highly reliable and free to me thanks to generosity of a friend) to Hostgator, about whose reliability I know little and who will cost me some money. Why? I can’t remember. But it’s done! And I’ve taken the opportunity to upgrade my blogging software to version 3.2 of the movable type system. If I’ve done it correctly, it should look exactly the same as it used to. I have some plans to update the look of the sight as well, but that will have to wait.

I’ve also updated the photo gallery to v2.0.1 of the Gallery system. In doing so I have accidentally deleted all my old albums, and I’m slowly recovering from that. But onceI’ve got some content back in there, that part of the site should look different, and better.

As a final added benefit, reservaloscedros.org should soon be back online in all it’s mid-90s glory.
