Liberal-NDP alliance?
Nobody has said anything about the Liberals and the NDP forming a coalition goverment were the Conservatives to qualify for a minority government. So I assumed there was some reason which I didn’t understand why that couldn’t happen. But somebody on the CBC just hinted at it. So maybe there isn’t a reason why it couldn’t happen. Maybe the only thing in between a Liberal-NDP coalition government and a Conservative minority government is Liberal pride. Maybe it’s still a possibility. The NDP did an excellent job, maybe the best job I’ve seen the NDP do of anything, of ruling by wielding the balance of power in the previous government. A Lib-NDP federal government could be as good as any Canada has had. I seem to recall it happened before, maybe as an Ontario provincial government. Maybe it’s possible?
