Manseed Ferank’s homepage. I think Mssr. Ferank is responsible for “The Revolution Will Be Televised” rant in the Kleptone’s Revolverlution track. He has dreads in any case.

My favourite 10 minutes was Gillian Welch > Mountain Goats > CSS > Gordon Lightfoot. That was awesome. Or maybe it was the entire tube of coffee really kicking in. Almost as good and much longer was the whole hiphop thing. Hopefully I won’t get the feds up in my mouth like forks and spoons for that one. Whatever, it sounded good on my end. Ahem.

(My old favourite Immortal Technique song.)

I wonder how many people listen to this stuff? From the streaming audio server stats on the wall and guessing wildly at the actual radio transmission audience I figure it’s probably in the low hundreds. I think or something.

Almost as good? I’d have to say the hip hop was my favorite part (note the correct spelling of favorite:) Thanks for playing so many of my requests. On a second listen to Peruvian cocaine, it seems like there might have been the F word in there after all…so yeah, hope that doesn’t cause problems. I also particularly enjoyed all the Louis Armstrong, Roy Buchanan and the Kleptones revolution track.

Sadly, there seems to be a gap in the audio here, between 7:35-8:00am. This is unfortunate, as it is a critical time period, with both Amadan songs, Let’s Get it On (one of the greatest songs of ALL time), and your favorite 10 minutes.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

It’s funny, I actually did listen to the IT track ahead of time… I was skeptical of the swear-free claim… and somehow I didn’t hear any of the bad words except for one “hell”. I figured I’d put it on anyway (after playing Martin Tielli dropping the F bomb it seemed kinda stupid not to play a request with hell in it) and, oh boy, there was a good crop of 7words words popping out of nowhere.

Ah well. I know other djs were listening, but maybe none of the exec.

Audio should be fixed now. Thanks for the tip.
