Silver Medal: Best Mexican Bus Movie

The best mexican bus movie (after Hollow Point which strangely did not star Steven Seagal) is now officialy The Prophecy. Basic plot: a sect of angels are angry with god because he likes humans better so they start a war in heaven for supremacy. Satan is jealous. Christopher Walken is Gabriel. A 10 year old new mexican girl is possessed with the soul of the worst human ever – interestingly, a retired U.S. army officer. Gabriel wants said soul. All that stands between him and supremacy is a couple of B actors, millions of acres of southwestern scenery, about a hundred lines of perfect Christopher Walken dialogue and an unexplained inability to drive cars.

“That was a good move. You should come work for us upstairs. I can get you in. You don’t have to go to bed, you get all the ice cream you want and best of all you get to kill kill kill”

“God is love. What do you love Gabriel?”
“Cracking your skull”

“Come along Rachel”
“No”
“You decide. You can spend an eternity here stuck in that skin suit or one more day with me. I can wait. I can wait till the stars burn out in the sky. I just can’t drive.”

The bad news is it apparently has 2 sequels.
