This is, as far as I can remember at the moment, the best music video I have ever seen. The song is “Jed’s Other Poems” by Granddaddy, who I quite like. The video is the output from a program written “on a 1979 Apple ][+ with 48K of RAM. Seriously.”, in the Applesoft II language, by some random guy.

The end of the video is a kicker. I almost cried, which I am finding is usually a good thing these days. Can’t quite articulate why it’s so good so I won’t try.
